My wife and I have been to several Italian restaurants in NC and by far this is our favorite. The pasta is so authentic and their sauces are excellence! I would highly recommend it to anyone who has an appreciation of authentic Italian food in a quaint cool town.
My family and I LOVE Antonia's! The first time we dined there Antonia herself came over and introduced herself and asked how our experience was going! We dined tonight at Antonia's for the first time. The server was attentive and relaxed. Present but not obnoxious. Wines were half off, and food was generous, served at the right temperature, light but full of flavor.
We had crab Benedict and Belgian waffle for Sunday brunch and now it is my new favorite food! We had to order take-out due to special circumstances and I was astounded to see how good it was even with take-out. The crab was cooked perfectly and the hollandaise was still warm when I got to eat it.
Wonderful owner made everything right in response to my complaint. We got the Mother's Day Prix Fixe. Seared scallops especially good. Strawberry poppyseed salad was great. Beef Wellington, and the desserts were mediocre.
